ABOUT LEVEL 2
Advancing Clinical Education (ACE) 2010 Level 2 Course
Program dates: *Thursday 25 February, Friday 26 February and Friday 21 May
2010 (*3 day program - Please note program runs over two days in February
and one day in May)
Venue: Metropole Conference Centre Fitzroy.
ACE level 2 is a three-day advanced level interdisciplinary interactive
course for experienced clinical supervisors and for people who have
responsibility for organising and managing clinical education and
supervision. It is designed for people who work with students, pre
registration candidates, new graduates and less experienced colleagues.
ACE level 2 looks at professional practice, educational expertise,
learning relationships, managing learning programs and resources and
developing personal knowledge. This three day course includes skill
development in areas such as feedback, clinical reasoning and reflection

Prerequisites for enrolment
Participants are expected to have:
- at least five years experience as an educator in clinical settings
- a desire to improve their practice as an educator
- attendance at an ACE or Quality Supervision course or equivalent
experience/prior learning
