Level 2 Program
This three-day course includes skill development in areas such as
feedback, clinical reasoning and reflection. Utilising independent
syndicate group work, participants work on a project of choice based on
workplace needs or individual interest. Syndicate group reports are
presented and shared on the third day.
The course builds on the successful inter-professional learning of ACE
(Advancing Clinical Education) and Quality Supervision courses and will be
presented by Dawn Best and Helen Edwards assisted by members of the ACE
team.
Why participants enjoy the course:
• ‘Being able to reflect on what Clinical Education is about and what
being a Clinical Educator means’
• ‘Being able to liaise with other allied health professionals regarding
clinical education practice’
• ‘Networking; enthusiasm amongst the group; being with like minded
people; resources; group work’
• ‘Syndicate group was great’
Assessment
To complete the ACE 2 course successfully, participants must:
• attend and participate in the three-day program, and
• present the results of their syndicate group work on the final day.
Syndicate groups will investigate an area of advanced practice for
clinical educators working in the period between day 2 and day 3 of the
course.
This multidisciplinary course is appropriate for all allied health and
health professionals. |
